Goal Setting, Balance And Your Home Based Business (or MLM) Results
This thought today is short and simple BUT powerful!
I hear all the time people say, "I don't have time" or "You don't understand, I have kids" or "Fill in the blank".
Hey, I'm not here to tell you what to do and chances I'm preaching to the choir if you're already in a home based biz. However, you may or may not be applying your time effectively.
Are you really getting the results you desire?
Figure out a time commitment that works for you and your family. As an example, commit to just one hour per day to building the business, while working a full time job. If you're full time at home, then work it!
While the time might sound small one hour a day) it works and becomes a daily goal, helps you focus and become effective in the time allotted.
Goal setting can get out of hand if you're goals aren't realistic.
Be a dreamer and go for it....but baby steps, baby steps. What I mean is set a few goals that you can achieve in the next 30 days or less. Build that mindset muscle and see self esteem grow and eventually go through the roof.
Next step, decide on some 60 day and 90 days goals each time building towards more success and satisfaction. Hey, being a Double Whammy Bammy Blue Diamond is great but how about making your first sale or your first $1,000 or $2,000 month and go from there? Does that make sense?
The major thing is keep it simple and focused on your highest payoff activities. An example, would be to make sure you speak to (yes, I said speak to) 3 people a day about your business opportunity. Another example, would be to have one piece of marketing implemented and done weekly. Still yet, commit to a certain amount of follow up (specific number and goal) in order to collect a decision from a prospect, etc.
The major problem is to lose focus and use your time to straighten up your desk or listening to all the company training calls, etc. Just make sure 80% of your time spent on working your business is results-driven activity.
As you get better at running your business it gets easier to figure out ways to achieve goals in a realistic time frame. I'm here if you need me.

Knowing Why The Right Tools Have Anything To Do With Mindset And MLM
When you start something new is hard to know ahead of time what tools and knowledge you're going to need. Combine this with a natural resistance towards spending money on an unknown venture and you'll likely wind up lacking something that's essential to your business.
The funny part is when I was a traditional entrepreneur, I spent thousands and thousands of dollars a month on rent, employees, marketing and so much more BUT when I began a home based business.....I got cheap!
This is not totally true but there is a tendency to "hold back" and not spend money and I can understand being careful but the reality is you need to make right decisions for your business and this often means spending in the right areas when it comes to tools, services, marketing and lead generation AND the right business model.
Let me give you an example. My first attempt developing an online business utilized cheap domain names (.biz, .info) and web hosting which impeded my ability to have a professional looking web site. The truth is I felt overwhelmed entering a new industry and market. There was simply too much to know and I didn't know where to get the right information to make my business a success. When things looked liked they weren't working I often times switched gears or abandoned that idea but this meant a loss of time and money. It took some time but I began to turn the corner.
Knowing When And Where To Ask For Help... This is big key and you need to find the person(s) that will help you get where you want to get WITHOUT all the HYPE and GURU stuff as this tends to only empty your pockets and has little to do with putting money into your bank account.
Simply take a step back and look at your business with "objective" eyes. Does the model make sense and what is your expected outcome? If you're building an M.LM don't over think it but realize you may need to apply yourself for 3-5 years in order to build a sizeable organization that pays well.
If you're into affiliate marketing and have a gross commission of $30 per sale; analyze that and realize you will need to sell 100 of them in order to earn $3,000 monthly (less marketing expenses). The above is not good or bad; simply look at this from a business point of view as I did for many years in my traditional and offline businesses.
O.K, great advice but what does this have to do with tools, your mindset and making money?
Your mindset can be destroyed if you see failure and after failure and weeks, months and even years go by without the success you're dreaming about. So, look at your business and decide if it's the right "vehicle" to get you where you want to go. If it is, great! If not, pick another "horse" and ride it.
Next, seek a coach or mentor to advise you on the tools or services that are "must have" to help you succeed and avoid the $3k Guru programs for now and just get practical advice. This doesn't have to be expensive.
Finally, and this is actually first. Develop you inner game, your mindset. Who are you talking to, who are you connecting with and what books are you reading?
Just to let you know, hanging out on Facebook is not the secret to getting rich...great social media but you need to take action and implement. More on this later....

Value Of Your Multilevel Marketing Business As A Customer Or Distributor.
By this, I referring to the total profit of an average customer over the lifetime that they do business with you. This can include all future sales and upgrades; one-time and passive. This is not the gross sale but the commission earned.
Let's say the average customer/distributor brings you $10 per sale (ie: 10% of $100 monthly purchase).
They re-purchase 12 times in a year and their average order amount is $100. On each $100 reorder, you make $10 gross profit. We know that an MLM distributor or customer will not be there forever so the "lifetime value" is relative to the average time they might be with you. You can decide what this length of time is but I will use 4 years for this example.
Therefore, you earn $10 commission, per month, per customer/distributor and that's $120 per year or $480 in 4 years. Does that make sense so far?
How much can you spend to bring in one customer?
If the average distributor earns you $480 over this period of time; then you can gauge what is prudent to spend in marketing in order to acquire this customer or distributor.
At the end, if you could generate these distributors for a cost of $40; then you can add as many as possible and you are in a good position here. Now, before I get any flack on this; I am in no way taking sides on this and it could easily be argued that people in MLM may not be around 4 years as there is too much churn. I will leave that up to you...
One quick note: use this to calculate potential earning. Such as if you had 1,000 distributors and you earned $120 per year, per distributor that would mean ($120 X 1,000) $120,000 in annual earnings If they spent $100 on average and if the true payout of your MLM was 10% (reports indicate that even with check matching bonuses, other bonuses, this and that it's closer to 5.6% payout).
A separate article will cover product and compensation plan breakage and shed light on the actual payout of plans in MLM. Suffice to say that if the actual payout is closer to the reported averages for MLM at 5.6%, then the above would indicate an income closer to $67,200 annually for this organization of 1,000. Final point about this is the viability that people actually duplicate and if a 1,000 person organization is reasonable in your mind.
1% of MLM distributors think about this. You want to spend everything you can justify to bring in a customer as long as that customer costs you less than they earn you. If you can't afford to spend more than the entire profit from the first sale, remember you'll be making money just in a few months from them. Start out spending what your cash flow can justify. After a quarter or several months after their re-order profits come in, then you can step up your ad budget.
Another argument is to consider a much bigger profit upfront in MLM such as those commissions in business models outside of this profession. In real estate and mortgage we earned large incomes upfront but nothing in the way of residual or passive income. The question is...is there something that can achieve both lucrative commissions upfront and passive income.
This is not only important to your potential income but can determine how much you can justify to spend in marketing to acquire a distributor and even the caliber of that potential business partner.
Imagine passive income but also upfront commissions of $1,000 per distributor and a lifetime value of that same 4 year period of the area of $13,000 to $20,000. Certainly the need to build an organization of 1,000 or more people is not necessary and six-figure income can be had with 100 people; even less.
In addition to that, the large initial commissions and there is no need to be a sponsoring superstar and just a few upfront commissions can be a much shorter time period to actually earn a decent income which is a complaint of many that say that MLM typically requires 3-5 years to build a decent residual base.

Is There Any Success In Sight For The AVANT Business Model
Recently I came across yet another network marketing company and thought I would look closer into it as this had nothing to do with lotions, potions or pills. At first glance, it really doesn't seem like a network marketing company as the corporate site http://WeAreAvant.com was very professional and focused on personal development.
They talk about being an "Awareness" company and I knew this could be appealing but only to those that enjoyed personal development such as Tony Robbins, The Secret, Jim Rohn and others.
The company launched on May 31, 2010 under the direction of Brent Payne, CEO and founder of the company. I Googled him and discovered a good reputation and a dedication to personal development in the past. In fact, a couple of years prior he was the co-owner of another personal development direct sales company that enjoyed massive success for 8 years.
Apparently, he sold his interest in the company, took some time off and now formed Avant.
The business model could be considered top tier and has 3 basic products including Elevate a 72 day home study course with a DVD, CD's, a journal, workbook and online features to include coaching, social media and accountability grid.
Furthermore, the course comes with an unheard of 72 day money back guarantee which I thought was saying a lot about their product. I have spent thousands of dollars on personal development courses, audios, videos and seminars and have enjoyed mist of them but never encountered such a strong guarantee. It seems they really, really have faith in their product.
The compensation plan is a good mix between what is large upfront income and still has passive income. What I see here is that this model addresses someone's need and desire to make a large income upfront as opposed to a traditional MLM and 4 sales a month (one per week) yields a $4,000 monthly income without even talking about the residual aspect or the upgrades. I feel this gives someone a chance to earn much more and faster and people need to make money sooner than later.
The plan pays on four levels and it is basically a uni-level but there is no auto-ship and even though the cost of entry is higher it really is a more affordable business due to the lack of a $150-$250 auto-ship as in a traditional MLM.
I give you my personal opinion but I like the fact that network marketing is improving in some ways as with Avant. By this I mean that this model will attract more professionals who would normally not give a hoot about MLM or ever want to promote a lotion, potion or pill as the next awesome solution to mankind.
In addition, the compensation model is pretty straight forward and people can understand it as well as "pick" the level of their involvement.
As a final note you can of course build an organization as like as you want with Avant, Xango, Monavie and others. However, the Avant model does not require thousands and thousands of people to get into a realistic six-figure annual income.

Comparing Top Tier Vs Direct Sales And A Traditional Traditional Multilevel Marketing.
I get asked all the time. "Al Rod, what do you think about this MLM opportunity?"
This is ONLY one example of a traditional MLM. Let's say it's one of the "hot" new binary hybrid compensation plans that "say" they pay 50-55% commission. Super Wrong!
There's breakage meaning that for every $100 worth of water or juice you buy; you will be credited with a lower percentage of commission-able volume and that can range from 50% to about 77% of the actual dollar spent. That's huge and right away decreases what you think you would earn. Then there is breakage on rank advancement which means that if you don't qualify for a certain bonus or rank even though you may have the dollar volume; the company keeps this portion of the money and therefore reduces the actual payout.
Okay auto-ship. Let's say that you spend $250 per month because you are at a certain rank level that requires 4 boxes or 4 cases of this or that. Well, that's $3,000 a year in product or $15,000 a year in the next 5 years of business and more over a 10-20 year career. This isn't good or bad; just the facts.
We said this is a binary. I realize you will get the whammy bammy bonus, maybe the car bonus or the impossible to calculate 2% global bonus but the binary pays on the lesser leg. Binary means you build two team or two legs; a right and a left one AND if one runs away you could effectively have 1,000 people on one leg and 200 on the other. Yes, you guessed it; you get paid on the lesser or smaller leg to the tune of about 10% or so. 200 people on the lesser leg consuming 100 points of product per month is, $20,000 in volume or about $2,000 a month.
Top Tier has their pros and cons...It is more expensive upfront to join most of these business models to the tune of $1500 to $2000 but there is no auto-ship with most of these companies (check for specifics) and that should be considered. The next thing to consider is the upfront payout. In a traditional MLM, you get someone to join for say $499 and you make anywhere from $90 to about $140.
In a top tier, a $1500 or so sale earns you about $1,000. It takes no more effort to bring someone in at a higher level than at a $499 and $250 level and yet the upfront money is huge. Four sales monthly or one a week in a top tier can earn you $4,000 per month not counting the passive or residual income. In a traditional MLM if you sponsored one a week you may earn about $400 month (huge difference).
This $400 a month helps pay your auto-ship of $250 and the company replicated site, shipping and maybe you have $100 at best left for you; something to think about.
Finally, Top Tier tens to attract a more motivated entrepreneur and pulls lots of people that are not in MLM or network marketing as the higher income and professionalism of some of these companies s very appealing. The marketing strategies also typically make more sense than the MLM home parties and chase your family and friends scenarios.

I can tell you it's not the program; YOU are the progam. Forget hard work or all construction workers would live in mansions. Perseverance? Are you kidding me?
Until you are willing to do WHATEVER it takes (not about hard work or perseverance) then you will keep getting what you have gotten so far.
YOUR program is who YOU become and being able to press on, move forward and doing whatever it takes.
Become the right person and you will attract people...
Circulate positive energy and you will get people's attention...
Are you willing to do anything?
Do you really have will power?

The Multilevel Marketing Is Like Being A Real Estate Broker As Opposed To A Vitamin Salesman
I have people pitch me on the latest vitamin, pill, potion, lotion or juice and it all seems to sound the same after a while. I came across some "buzz" on this company Avant and found it very interesting as I compared it to a real estate brokerage but without the overhead, risk or liability.
This new company has a "different" feel to it that will either appeal to you or not.
At first glance, it really doesn't seem like a network marketing company but it is!

When I viewed the compensation plan I was able to relate it at the time I had my Real Estate franchise. Imagine, as a real estate broker that your goal is to recruit 30-40 agents, train them, support them and then earn a percentage from each of their sales and maybe you make a sale here and there. It's a pretty cool set-up if it weren't for all the risk and overhead.
Okey, the Avant business model is just that. No lotion, potions, pills or juices that require you to build your group to thousands of people to earn a six-figure income.
The compensation plan is a good mix between what is large upfront income and passive or override income. Imagine you make a sale a week in Avant; you would earn a minimum of $4,000 monthly. Now imagine you have 30-40 people on your team like in the real estate example. The average override is $250. Imagine this group each averages that one sale per week and let's say 30 people on our team. $250 X 4 sales each X 30 people means you earn $30,000 a month. Of course, there is no guarantee of what you will earn and what others will do but feel free to study the compensation model and adjust up or down. (Imagine, if you had 100 people on your team and not 30?)
The plan pays on four levels so there is an opportunity for a larger team and those bring in others and there is no auto-ship. This alone is an interesting component when you compare it to say a nutritional MLM that requires you to purchase $250 worth a product a month. In one year that's $3,000 spent on vitamins or juice and imagine how much that adds up to in just 5 years.
This great model of compensation will attract more professionals who would normally not give a hoot about MLM and that is key and huge if you think of a wider market that can appeal to more people. I say this because personal development is appealing to a broad audience and the business is not built in the traditional sense with home parties, etc.

You just might trigger something positive in others and this will develop the correct habits and thinking to feel abundant, happy and fulfilled. This is a simple but effective technique so go ahead and try it.
3) Begin each day with optimism and not with fear. Yes, start out n the morning with the thoughts of achieving, of doing and of accomplishing your goal. Do not fear the day or the challenge and in fact, spend no time in the "worry" space and just take action with this inspired optimism.
4) While you continue working towards developing your stronger mindset, decide to take on something new. It can be a hobby, the decision to get into shape or to finally read that book you've been meaning to get to for some time now. These positive changes can do very good for you.
Okay, some easy and simple things to consider. In fact, so simple you may tend to overlook them so please take a moment to re-review this and apply these now, today.

The Truth About Marketing And Funnels For Your MLM Business?
There is so much confusion right now as to how to build a successful home based business. I Totally understand that as I too fell into all the GURU ideas and opted into list after list to find out the HOW of making money from home.
I woke up and take the decision to stop the insanity! I began with unsubscribing to tons of list as those emails were nothing but a distraction for me with a new idea, strategy or secret. I'm not saying to unsubscribe to all lists but the majority need to go.
Begin with the end id mind. In other words, what's your goal and what do you want to accomplish? Maybe it's to make $250 a day or to have X number of people in your MLM or this or that. Let's start real simple here.... Make sure you have something of value to offer to your prospects, make sure it is FREE and that they also perceive to be of great value and then drive people/traffic to this site.
You can send people to your company replicated MLM site BUT that doesn't work very well when marketing and driving traffic. Some of the reasons are: its looks generic, amateur and if they aren't interested in your business; then they are out of there.
After all...what do you do...? You need to build a marketing funnel that allows people to easily and freely check things out. Maybe you offer a report an audio or some other training to help then with THEIR business.
A good marketing funnel will offer something the prospects will need, present your business and then those interested sign up and those that aren't can see what offers you have for tools and services to continue to build their business.
The neat thing about that is you monetize your list and it helps pay for you marketing costs and then some while you build your primary business. Your prospects should continue to gain value by the information you send and you build a rapport with that person.
Remember people buy from those they know, like and trust.....
There are several marketing funnels in the marketplace or you can start from scratch. If this is fairly new to you, simply go with one of the services as there is no need to reinvent the wheel.

Be Savy In The Sponsoring Process For Your MLM Business.
1. Connecting with People - We have all heard of know, like and trust BUT a huge mistake people make in prospecting, marketing and sales is that they never build a strong rapport or connection with their prospects before pitching them on their business; Nuriche or any other. This makes the business hard, no fun and full of rejection. Plus others see your business (the business you want them to join) for only "sales types" and just a pitch-fest. Simple remember to create the relationship first, the "friendship" and the rest will tend to fall in place. If you don't have a good connection with your prospect, you'll never know his/her real objection. As corny as it may sound to some; people want you to be interested in them, to care about them and if the connections is there it opens it up to discuss their concerns, objections and desires for your business in a much more open and easy manner. 2. Pre-qualifying - This is another common mistake and part of the process that is overlooked. Pre-qualifying a prospects come from years of experience in that prior profession to determine the best and highest use of my time. You see a prospect that could not buy a home (terrible credit, no job, high debts, low motivation, unrealistic expectations, etc) was not really a prospect and more like a suspect. Many loan officers did not understand it and I see tons and tons of people in network marketing that just don't get this either. A prospect will have a genuine conversation with you and will ask questions but they make sense. A suspect wants to make $10,000 a month but has no money, doesn't know anyone, wants to know why they can't get in for no-cost, thinks network marketing doesn't work or whatever else but you get the picture. You must develop a series of questions to ask prospects and/or a marketing funnel to filter through and separate the real prospects from the suspects for your Nuriche or other business. Develop a set of questions (or check out my next article or video) that will take a prospect through a few key questions to see if there is a basis to spend time talking about working together.
3. Find their WHY - What they are looking for and why? Take time to discover and find their need as it is different for each person. In fact, I made a huge mistake for many years and missed this step, sponsored people into my program anyway and then wondered why they never did anything (but complain or drift away). Fortunately, if people have come through your marketing funnel; chances are you're not talking to someone unless they have a strong desire or WHY but you need to figure out what it is. Take people through this process and you will weed out the people that usually are you big time wasters and end up with better prospects for your business.

It seems that everyone wants to make money in MLM but few know what effective strategies they need to deploy once they have talked to their friends and family. This review of The Press 1 Marketing System is meant to provide an overview of details (pros and cons) and to understand some of the key components to this system.
The problem is that most, if not all network marketers simply do not have enough leads and there is usually an unwillingness to get on the telephone and call, call, call. I'm not advocating that strategy but we all know that sales have a lot to do with numbers.
Therefore, when considering any system, tool, service or marketing method; you simply need more leads, more people that will see your business presentation and an effective way to contact them, sift, sort and once presented a great follow up system.

Is Your Mindset Right For Massive Success?
Having the right mindset when beginning or operating a business is a critical to your success but it is often an overlooked area.
Some beginning entrepreneurs spend more time picking out a desk, software, where they will advertise and market, the money they plan to earn than paying attention to their mindset or actually growing from the inside out.
I plan to outline some basic but important considerations in order to develop a proper mindset that will go hand in hand with all other necessary things to run a successful business and attract massive success.
My insight to someone that may have only experienced working for a boss in prior years. In most cases employees are expected to work 8 hours a day and get paid to work a set amount of time during a scheduled work shift. In the typical scenario this means an eight hour workday.
So for eight straight hours a day the worker completes the tasks associated with his or her job. Many studies have indicated that the average employee works a productive 6 hours a day or even much less. In other words, there is a lot of non-productive time in that 8 hour work day and multiplied over days, weeks and months; the about of lost productivity is huge.
For example if you are in or beginning a home based business there may be a time period while employee mentality fights to stay in control. As an entrepreneur you are now "paid for results". So appearing to be busy to keep the boss happy or wasting time with unimportant activities needs to be eliminated.
This is where a great mindset comes in. It has been called many things such as positive thinking, The Secret or The Law of Attraction; but all in all, this concept must be applied to see success. You might be asking what this has to do with thinking like a successful business owner. Everything!

Remembering The Reasons Why You Joined Your MLM.
Sometimes life gets us going in many directions and sometimes it's good to STOP and focus for a few minutes. Do you remember your; WHY when you joined your MLM business?
Did you want wealth, health, happiness or.....? Whatever it is, take a few minutes and write down ALL the reasons why you joined your MLM business. There are no wrong answers as they are your reasons. Are these reasons compelling enough for you and are they causing you to take the daily action needed to succeed?
I don't know you or your MLM business but I do know people after having personally coached many for years and if we don't have this WHY clarity, we tend to lose enthusiasm, question the opportunity or ourselves.
Today could be the day that you simply assess and decide where you go from here. I'm in no way saying to abandon your MLM business but even that could be an option for you.
Pretend today is the first day of your business and do the following:
1) Write down all the reasons WHY you are doing an MLM business?
2) Write down a simple action plan with dates and expected results.
3) Take immediate action.
4) Measure your results at least every 30-days.

6 Simple Steps To Riches In MLM And Home Base Business.
After all my evaluations about how to build your MLM and Home Base bussiness, I want to share with you the series of Mindset articles to help you build your MLM, Direct Sales or Top Tier program. Before I go over the 6 steps there are three things you really, really need in business and they are:
A) Your MUST have the right mindset. Now I know that you hear about all the personal development talk and some of you may wonder if it really matters or whether it's all a waste of time. I can assure you this is the most important part of your success. If your mind is in the right place, then the rest will get figured out.
B) You MUST have the real WHY. That's right WHY do you do what you do? This needs to be an emotional, gut wrenching process that will get you into action and I can assure you it is not about the $10,000 a month. Your; WHY will get you through the tough times and sticking points in your life and business and this needs to be in writing and referred to on a regular basis.
C) You need a system or a strategy to get enough people to see your opportunity. A steady amount of people looking at what you have to offer is simply a numbers game. This holds true whether you are doing offline or online marketing or both. More on this later.
The next 6 steps are taken from my recent study (re-study) of Napoleon Hill and the book, Think and Grow Rich. In chapter 2 a short exercise is discussed to help you achieve anything you want and I have outlined it here for you. Please write on a paper and do each step and make sure to review regularly:
1. Fix in your mind the exact amount of money you desire. It is not sufficient to say that you want plenty of money. Be definite in the amount. There is a psychological reason to be definite. When you study in a MasterMind group that teaches you to Think And Grow Rich it will become clear as to why this exercise is important. 2. Determine exactly what you intend to give in return for the money you desire. There is no such reality as something for nothing. The only way you can get massively rich is to contribute massively to society. It is the law.
3. Establish a definite date when you intend to possess the money you desire.
4. Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire. Begin at once, whether you are ready or not to put your plan into action. You can refine the details of your plan. It is important to not just think about the plan, but do something now. By taking action, you will have made that commitment to your subconscious mind.
5. Write out a clear and concise statement of the amount of money you intend to aquire, name the time limit for its acquisition, state what you intend to give in return for the money and describe clearly the plan through which you intend to accumulate it.
6. Read your written statement aloud, twice daily, once just before retiring for the night and once after arising in the morning. As you read, see, feel and believe yourself already in possession of the money.
You may or may not have been familiar with this in either case TODAY is the day you can apply this in your life and business.

Find Out Why Having A Supportive MLM Spouse Is Critical To Your Success.
I don't know about you but this has a lot to do with your mindset, your positive outlook on things and that equates to the success you have OR don't have. Aspiring entrepreneurs need the support of their spouse or partner. Fortunately, my wife is 100% supportive.
I know some people, who sadly enough, will never succeed because their spouse runs around saying things like, "That's a waste of time". If your spouse or significant other is angry you're spending time working on something other than your "real job" its going to be difficult to start a business and work around the negativity they feel.
If you have a supportive spouse, then that's awesome and keep going, take lots of action to action to inspire that continued trust and support. What if you're not married or you don't have a significant "other" in your life? Simply, find a person or persons that will be very supportive of what you're doing. Focus on those that will cheer you on and make you feel 10 feet tall. However, this is not just some mind game you MUST take action, implement and be a leader in your business because if you don't take it seriously...no one else will and then you are left with people that doubt you. You don't want to go there....
Okay, what if you DO have a spouse but that person is not supportive? Well, do they have reason to feel this way? Have you been a "let down" and are you acting responsibly?
You cannot turn back the hands of time BUT you can take action TODAY!
Decide you will succeed, set some new goals and take immediate action towards their attainment and keep going and going. In fact, decide if your business is really right for you and if you need to change your business model; then do it! In the meantime, find a coach that will provide some positive feedback as you develop this mindset muscle.

How Confidence Will Help You Succeed In MLM And Generation Of More Leads.
Early on, I realized to succeed required getting and developing the right "mindset" to be my own boss. This meant getting over self-defeating talk and convincing "me" that I could do it.
I sold myself on the idea of going into business for myself, but that didn't take away the realistic fears and insecurities. I began as an independent mortgage broker with my sister as a receptionist in a tiny little office and I poured over Tony Robbin audios and listened to Les Brown tell "me" how I can do this or that no matter my circumstances or present situation.
When I started the business there was no paycheck, no set date when the money would arrive, and even worse I worried that the money might not show up at all.
This became my biggest fence to climb.
Anyway, I kept going and eventually grew that operation to three offices with over 40 employees and even opened a Real Estate franchise some time later with over 40 people there as well.
This is not to impress you but to impress upon you that YES the obstacles will come but you must continually feed your mind with good books, great audios and even a coach or mentor to keep you going on those "not so good" days.
However, today I work from home and have no desire for that large overhead and responsibility but the same discipline and mindset tactics apply. In fact, they are even more important if you're where at home due to a lack of a real social group.
Today, I invite you to just take one baby step towards a better you. No lip service, just do something you have been putting off, pick up that Think and Grow Rich book and simply make an improvement today.

Overcoming Your Fears!
WHAT you can do if you could put fear aside?
What would you be able to do, create and accomplish? If you really take the time to imagine this; you'll feel like a big weight has been lifted from your shoulders. By destroying FEAR you can begin living and feel the freedom you have always desired.
It's FEAR that really keeps us chained to our limiting beliefs and insecurities and holds us back from true success, harmony and happiness. If we didn't buy-in to the fear, it would have no power over us.
How do you overcome fear? I came from good parents but a father that always told me to watch out for this or that. He warned me and warned me about this or that and more; all the while to "protect" me from life. But after years and years of hearing; no, don't do that, watch out for this... takes a toll on the emotions.
I developed a fear of what others thought of me; fear of how I looked, fear if I was good enough; smart enough, fear of being rejected, fear of not being loved and much more but I think you get the idea.
Soon out of high school I began to listen to Tony Robbins, Jim Rohn, Les Brown, Dennis Waitley and more and my fear began to get replaced with positive ideas and the possibility of being success, self-worth and happy, etc. I remember being just 18 years of age and listening to these great speaks tell ME; that I could do it, that I could succeed, that I can visualize success and a life of happiness and abundance. Thank God I was young and nave; because I bought into it hook, line and sinker! This didn't happen overnight!
Being an entrepreneur has been a HUGE benefit in helping me overcome many of the fears and limiting beliefs that I had had carried inside of me until this point.
The first time I had to speak to a group, I was extremely nervous and intimidated... But I did it, and today I love speaking to others in person, on video and cherish the opportunity to inspire those around me.
Taking the right action got me involved and surrounded myself with "can do" information; the more I overcame that fear. In other words, the "taking action" was in itself a cure for FEAR.
Does owning a business cause or cure fear? I feel owning your own business is so much more than making money, financial success or anything tied to material things. Don't misunderstand me, those things are fine but WHO you become is the most valuable of all.
There are many people "get into" a business and worry about marketing, selling, promoting and more but rarely take enough action towards their mindset.
When it comes to having your own business, (offline or online) and creating the life you truly desire....what' holding YOU back? What are your biggest fears?

MLM Is Good, Top Tier Is Fine And Here’s A System To Help Either One!
It's almost funny to see the MLM guys in one corner and the Top Tier guy in another as to what is best. I have to tell you the truth; marketing is marketing and you just have to find something you like and then apply yourself.
I want to explain in detail a system called the Press 1 Marketing System and you can see the pros and cons and see if it is applicable to your business and style. I'll be blunt and direct and on the surface it may seem like just a voice broadcasting service and it may stir up the emotions of that being old school or "I always hang up on those things" and you would be partially correct, but.... The Press 1 Marketing System has gone well beyond a simple calling service as they have incorporated sizzle calls, which is old school but believe it or not work very well to get people to take another step forward.
What they have done is combined a few tools and bundled it in such a way that it's a turnkey marketing system for any business. One tool using a simple to use system whereby plugging in a keyword you search for active network marketers online by company name, niche and you can even search by geographical area and more. You can have 100 or thousands of prospects.
The net tool extracts leads of active people in a home based business and/or MLM off of Craigslist and it is so easy to use that a 10 year old can do it.
Okay, then the system takes all these leads into the built in auto-responder with all the messages loaded to bring those people back to you. I want to address the "I hang up on all those messages" argument because I thought the same.

Two things:
1) It targets people already active and in the business and the professionally recorded calls are, awesome and meant to attract their attention.
2) As all things in sales; it's a numbers game. How long would it take you to call 1,000 people? Let's say you really committed and called 50 people a day and did this 5 days a week...it would take an entire month as opposed to doing this for about $20 to call those same 1,000 network marketers. The best thing is no negative people, no rejection, no leaving tons and tons of voicemails and it calls them in less than 15 minutes!
At the end not everyone will join your business but all of them want a way to make more money in THEIR business and the strong and automated affiliate aspect to the program monetizes your efforts along the way. Hey you won't get rich but this alone can add $1,000 a week to your bottom line and maybe more.
This is bigger picture thinking; but imagine if you had just 5 or 10 people on your team (whatever MLM) to do the same and you all called 1,000 people a day or a week?
SUPER! that is something that not only duplicates but even if 10 people sent out just 1,000 messages each and only 3 times a week would mean over 100,000 exposures on your team monthly.
My last opinion about this system is that on the negative side it will take about an 60-90 minutes to set up the system and you will need a little bit of marketing dollars after you have paid and signed up for the program. On the positive side it is "done for you" with no special knowledge or expertise needed, you don't have to be a superstar salesperson and in addition to the great training calls and webinars; it's just a turnkey system to either build your present business or go full bore marketing the Press 1 Marketing System as the affiliate and overrides are very good.

Old School And Technology Combined To Earn Money From Home (MLM Or..?)
People ask me all the time about how to make money and to be honest with you I hardly knew the answer for a long time. You see I am not much different than you and others that simply want to make some money from home but get caught up in all the fancy systems and techniques; then another one and then another one...
I was very successful in real estate and mortgages for many years but when the market fell apart I looked at making money from home and chased all the product launches and gurus with this idea and that and finally realized that the answer is not all that complicated.
If you are building a network marketing company, direct sales or simply looking for a way to make $1,000 to $4,000 weekly, maybe you want something turnkey without all the hype and craziness.
