Everyone in the MLM Industry believes or will state that their MLM is number "1" and smoking hot! They will tell you that if you join now you are on your way to the top. So with all the puffery ut is vital you can separate fact from fiction and not get sucked into another flash in the pan. This is a must read article if you are considering joining an MLM.
It Is Not True In MLM - Timing Is Not Everything
Certainly timing is important, but there are other important factors. Being in the first group of people to sail on the Titanic may have given those folks notoriety but the majority also drown. Most businesses are out of business in under 10 years and the majority never even survive 5 years. Approximately 1000 MLM companies fail every year and despite the hype about timing many never get out of pre-launch.

You can work hard and you can also work smart and then there is my favorite MLM success strategy - work smart while you are working hard. It should be very evident by now that being a success in business is clearly no accident. You will need to put forward a consistent effort and continually improve you r marketing skills with ongoing self-development. Choosing the right company is an absolute must.
Stay Alert - Watch Out For Marketing Predators
There are a ton of slick marketers that prey on people to get access to their down-line just so they can steal them away to build their business. These slick Gurus pride themselves in their ability to make success sound simple when in fact it takes hard work and a willingness to self improve. I have a friend that is an electrician and the other day he told me it is easy to wire a house and then added, once you know how.
Do You Want A Business That Will Last?
It will take time for you to learn the lessons in marketing you will need to know to hit the top. While there are a few that seem to just make it happen without effort they are the exception and not the rule. Marketing is a profession and has skills that must be acquired; however like in the case of my electrician friend once you learn your lessons it is easy. Do Your Homework - How To Check Out Your Company
My recommendation is that you select a company that has made it past the 5 year mark. Check with the Better business bureau and see what kind of rating the company has. Avoid going to Google for company reviews these are usually written by marketers hoping to draw you in to their company or products.
