Most people have no idea what they need to promote in network marketing. They seem to think it is only their company. This is actually not what they should be promoting. They really need to promote themselves and there are mlm products that will help in doing this.
First, I will explain why building "you" is so important. If you are in a company and you advertise your company website, what makes you stand out from everyone else doing the same thing? Why would someone want to join you over someone else? When we join opportunities, don't we want to ensure that we are connected with successful people in the company? After all, if they are successful, then they will help us succeed, right?
Promoting yourself will set you apart from everyone else that is just promoting their company website. When you have the right mlm products, it makes it really easy to position yourself as a leader even if you haven't made any money yet. The concept is called attraction marketing and when it is used effectively, you will become a leader in your company.
The more skills and knowledge you have the more successful you will become. You will sponsor more people when you share this knowledge. When you share information, people are getting to know you and are being attracted to you. When this happens, some will join you in your business. Duplication is the key, so when people join you, you simply introduce them to the same mlm products that you have used and you duplicate the process.
A couple years ago I was involved in a company and they decided to close. I lost my residual income and all of my contacts information. Things like this happen and when they do, we need to be prepared. You need to build yourself, so people will get to know you and trust you. This way, if something similar happens, you won't have to start all over. When you become that leader, people will follow no matter what company you join.
