Having a rotation of chores for your children will help them not get tired of the same thing all the time. Your kids will already be familiar with you asking for them to do things in the house if you start this early. This will start increasing their need for cooperation among other healthy habits.
Aside from not being loved in the first place, the hardest thing for a child to encounter is not being accepted for who they really are. As adults, most of us know what it feels like to not be accepted for whatever reason. In addition, many of us have found it hard to see our children for who they really are. But at the end of the day, those are our children. All parents hopefully will find whatever it takes to let their own kids know they are unconditionally loved and accepted at home. The outside world will treat them differently, maybe, but at home it is a different story.
